The Pevensie children return to Narnia one year after their first adventure in the magical land. There’s something to do almost every night of the week at the Avalanche Lounge in Troy. In fact, if the lounge was open on Sundays, there would be something to do every night of the week; but six nights out of seven isn’t bad.
For starters, the Avalanche is unique in that it has two karaoke nights; Tuesdays with Karen’s Karaoke and Thursdays with Be a Star Entertainment, which also involves trivia for patrons. Karaoke starts at 8 p.m. and lasts until the fun stops, which can be pretty late some nights.
While enjoying karaoke, patrons can enjoy a delicious, diverse menu, including sandwiches, wings, cheese sticks, pizza and more.
The full bar includes all kinds of drinks and a friendly staff, which handles your food and drink orders. Specials throughout the week include $1 Draft Night on Mondays; Ladies & Men’s Night with half-price drinks from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesdays and live entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights.
Additionally, every Friday night, pitchers of domestic beer and a nine-inch one-topping pizza can be purchased for $8 or a pitcher of domestic beer and a 12-inch one-topping pizza for only $10.
Bands that perform at the Avalanche play a variety of music and typically create a fun, energetic evening for patrons.
The Tuesday and Thursday karaoke also packs the house and is always a good time. A few other things you can find at the Avalanche include Golden Tee Golf and darts.
