ARC Ohio Hosts RED Event 2 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 4
The AIDS Resource Center Ohio (ARC Ohio) brings us yet another extravagant event that is not to be missed. RED ( Reach. Empower. Dream...of a world without AIDS) is one of the biannual events created and hosted by ARC Ohio which promises to be an experience of glamor and opulence. The formal RED Gala on Saturday, April 26th has been sold out, but ARC has added a Friday night Preview Cocktail Party so that you can take in forty original dining experiences created by Dayton's top designers. The designer's task has been to transform The Roundhouse at Montgomery County Fairgrounds into a series of uniquely decadent dining areas.
In addition to being able to drink in the sumptuous surroundings and ambient atmosphere, a cash bar is available as well as complimentary hors d’oeuvres while Kim Faris from Lite 99.9 provides music for the event. A silent auction will complete the evening with packages and items donated by local area businesses and corporate sponsors of the event.
RED will be held in the Roundhouse at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds on Friday, April 25th from 7 pm until 10 pm. General admission is $40 or you can upgrade to a Grand Patron Level, which includes and open bar, for only $65. For more information, please contact Jack Omer at (937) 461-2437 ext. 2025 or log onto www.arcohio.org. All proceeds benefit ARC Ohio, which will use the funds for HIV/AIDS support services and prevention education.
(I realize that this doesn't really fit here, but there was no event forum formed yet.)

Frankly, I have no taste for either poverty or honest labor, so writing is the only recourse left for me.
